An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Physiotherapist in a newly-created post at Trent Bridge, the home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club.
Key responsibilities will include providing physiotherapy services at Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club Second XI and Academy fixtures.
In addition, you will assist the Club Physiotherapist in the provision of physiotherapy services to the First XI during competitive fixtures and training sessions.
Working closely with the Club Physiotherapist you will carry out the rehabilitation programme for all players, and undertake regular profiling and testing of players, constructing and implementing injury prevention exercise programmes.
You will have a proven track record in Sports Physiotherapy, with experience in the provision of physiotherapy services to elite athletes and coaches, which should include the support, preparation and development of young elite athletes and injury prevention.
The successful candidate will be a current member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health Professions Council. A bronze level accreditation with the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine would be a definite advantage.
