Darren Pattinson recorded career-best first class figures to put Victoria in a commanding position against Western Australia in their ongoing Sheffield Shield encounter at the WACA.
His haul of 8-35 saw the Warriors bowled out for 190 in their first innings and although he only took one wicket in thge second innings, the Bushrangers, skippered by David Hussey, completed a resounding victory.
"Any time you take some wickets you're happy, and when you get eight you're even happier," said Pattinson.
"I just wanted to keep them tight for the boys, and whoever gets them, gets them," he said.
"Today was just my day.”
