Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club is looking to appoint a full-time Sales Executive - Meetings and Events.
This is a newly created role that reports to the Business Development Manager and is based in the Commercial Department at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground.
The successful candidate will be responsible for pro-actively selling the venue's newly refurbished facilities for match day and non-match day events, meetings and hospitality.
The key element of the role will be new business generation, but you must show an ability to retain and develop our existing client base and develop and maintain an effective network of contacts through good client management. You will be required to develop contacts, make appointments for show rounds for our sales co-ordinators and be able to close sales across our full product portfolio.
You must be articulate, pro-active and self motivated. You must have a proven track record in sales, in driving and delivering new business and meeting and exceeding targets. You must demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills and have the ability to sell at all levels.
