Jason Brown claimed a four-wicket haul as Nottinghamshire Second Eleven took control of their Championship match against Glamorgan.
The Glamorgan batsman found Brown a handful on a turning wicket in his 14 over spell. Three of his victims were beaten by the turn.
Mark Footitt had Ryan Watkins well caught at slip by Akhil as the home side reached 57-1 at lunch. Andrew Carter had Bragg lbw and Birrell caught behind by Crowley and returned later to clean bowl Dean Cosker (42) and Chris Ashling before Scott Elstone wrapped up the 207-run innings having Hawley caught at short leg by Will Jefferson.
Earlier in the day, Damian Crowley and Kevin Cooper added a further 46 runs for the seventh wicket before Crowley edged to the keeper. Bragg, with his score on 45. was the first victim of a hat-trick for Chris Ashling, who dismissed Footitt and Shreck to reduce Notts to 383-9. Kevon Cooper was last man out for a well-compiled 61 from 94 balls including eight fours as Notts posted 387.
Notts enforced the follow-on and Glamorgan reached 5-0 before rain and bad light stopped play.
