Samit Patel scored 88 as Nottinghamshire took advantage of fielding an all-staff line-up to see off Warwickshire in the Second Eleven Trophy.
Luke Fletcher and Darren Pattinson bowled a tight opening 12 overs, restricting Warwickshire to 43-3.
Piolet (41) and Javid (31) put on 69 for the 4th wicket before Piolet was bowled by Andre Adams and Javid fell in the same manner to Samit Patel.
After 50 overs, Warwickshire were 228-9 with wickets shared between Samit Patel (2-43), Luke Fletcher (2-44), Andre Adams (2-48), Paul Franks (1-44), Darren Patterson (1-30) and Akhil Patel (1-13).
In reply Notts lost Mathew Wood early but Patel took control of the innings with some delightful stroke play, adding 127 with Bilal Shafayat. Play was interrupted after 16 overs for rain and the new target became 153 from 31 overs.
Bilal Shafayat 33 and Will Jefferson 14 saw Notts home without further loss to seal a Duckworth-Lewis victory by 8 wickets.
