Will Jefferson was in good form during the morning session of the Championship game against Warwickshire at Welbeck.
Having won the toss and batted, Matt Wood scored 18 of the opening stand of 55 before falling leg before to Barker. Bilal Shafayat scored just 3 in his 33 minute stay before being caught again off Barker.
Jefferson reached his 50 from 69 balls with nine boundaries before he was out in the last over before lunch, caught behind trying to pull a short ball from Anyon for 66.
Akhil Patel (42) and Sam Kelsall (30) added 53 before both were out in quick succession leaving Notts on 191-6.
Greg Wood (24) and Scott Elstone (20) were the other main contributors as Notts were dismissed for 272 in the 87th over.
In the remaining 14 overs, Notts were unable to take a wicket as Warwickshire closed the day on 37-0.
