Notts batsmen Will Jefferson and Mark Wagh have leant their support to cricket players from Nottingham High School who will tour Barbados this summer.
Six High School pupils visited Trent Bridge to take part in a coaching session before putting questions to Will and Mark about life as professional sportsmen.
The trip, supported by Notts Outlaws sponsors Abacus Sports Lighting, will see 28 pupils travel to the Caribbean to take part in the Sir Garry Sobers Tournament where they will compete against sides from India, Australia and the West Indies.
"Playing cricket is something I really enjoy and they are all very enthusiastic about it in the West Indies. I expect to be able to learn a lot from being there,” said High School captain James Godrich.
Sobers, one of the most celebrated players to have played for Notts, visited the High School last year and issued a personal invitation to feature in the tournament.
