Mick Newell could name an unchanged side when Notts Outlaws face Durham Dynamos in their first home fixture of the Twenty20 Cup at Trent Bridge this afternoon (play commences 2:30pm).
Both sides enjoyed victories on Friday with the Outlaws beating Yorkshire Carnegie at Headingley and Durham easing past Leicestershire Foxes at Grace Road.
“We played well, caught well and fielded very well so it’s a pleasing to have made a winning start,” said Newell.
“Adam showed a cool head and Will Jefferson, Samit Patel and Chris Read made good contributions and it’s important that our genuine batsmen score runs in this competition.
“Durham look to be taking Twenty20 cricket very seriously this year with the signing of Shaun Pollock and we’re expecting a tough encounter.”
Tickets are available from the ticket point on Bridgford Road priced £15 for adults, £15 for senior citizens, £8 for juniors and £38 for families (two adults and two children).
