Notts Outlaws Director of Cricket Mick Newell hopes to mastermind a third successive win in the Twenty20 Cup when Derbyshire Phantoms visit Trent Bridge this evening (play commences 5:30pm).
Newell has seen his side overcome Yorkshire Carnegie and Durham Dynamos in the competition so far and is determined for his side to maintain their momentum.
“We set ourselves the target of winning two of our first three games and now we want to make it three out of three,” said Newell.
“If we perform as well as we did against Durham then we will give ourselves every chance of achieving that.”
Newell will select his side from an unchanged squad with Chris Cairns, Andre Adams and Samit Patel all expected to keep their places.
Rob Ferley should also start after his three wicket haul against Durham.
“Derbyshire will be fired up and there is always a will to win from both sides when we meet,” said Newell.
“We got it tactically right against Durham and we are in a good position in the group but there is a still a long way to go.”
Tickets are available from the ticket point on Bridgford Road priced £15 for adults, £15 for senior citizens, £8 for juniors and £38 for families (two adults and two children).
