Notts bowler Luke Fletcher is determined to keep his place in the England Under 19’s side after taking a wicket in a comfortable win over New Zealand.
Trent Bridge team mate Alex Hales opened the batting and hit 31 runs and Ian Saxelby returned match figures of 4-57.
Derbyshire’s Daniel Redfearn hit an unbeaten 151 as England won by an innings and 130 runs.
“The coaches have made sure that everything we do is modelled on the senior England team so the setup and the organisation is very professional,” said Fletcher.
“We won the game quite comfortably and hopefully all three of us can keep our places for the next Test at Worcester.
“Alex batted well and Ian took some wickets so it was pleasing from a Notts perspective.”
