Notts bowler AJ Harris has had his loan spell with Gloucestershire cut short after suffering a side strain.
Harris had been drafted into the Gloucestershire attack alongside Northamptonshire’s David Wigley who has now been recalled.
“The principle of signing players on loan remains a good one and we will continue to look again to find suitable reinforcements for part, or the whole, of the remaining season,” said Gloucestershire Chief Executive Tom Richardson.
Harris will return to Trent Bridge to begin his recovery.
