Charlie Shreck made a match-winning contribution in the opening fixture of the England Lions tour of India.
The Notts strike bowler handed the visitors a 30-run victory with 4-52 in the second innings of the warm-up game against Mumbai Cricket Association, who were all out for 230 chasing 261 to win.
As a non-first-class fixture, England used all 14 members of the tour party during the match, with Shreck coming on second change in Mumbai’s first innings and finished with 0-31 off eight overs.
But he was handed the new ball for the second innings and responded in style ahead of the Lions’ entry into the first-class Duleep Trophy, with their first game against Central Zone starting on February 3.
