Ryan Sidebottom believes his new Notts team-mate Stuart Broad will prove a huge hit at Trent Bridge next summer after the pair starred in England’s victory in the third One-day International against Sri Lanka.
Sidebottom, Broad and Graeme Swann shared nine of the Sri Lankan wickets between them - with Swann involved in the run-out for the 10th - and then guided England to a nail-biting two-wicket win at the close.
Sidebottom said: “Stuart is really mature beyond his years and you can see what a tremendous talent he is, even at this early stage in his career.
“He’s only 21 but has already got plenty of experience at the highest level. He’s going to be a great addition to the Notts team.”
