AJ Harris is recovering well and back in training following the fast bowler’s knee operation two weeks ago.
The 34-year-old was troubled by the injury during the second half of the season but battled through before opting for surgery in the winter.
He said: “Apparently I had a minor tear of the lateral meniscus in my left knee and the surgeon felt the operation was the best way to deal with it.
“It’s an injury I’ve had before and the keyhole surgery went well. I was on crutches for a few days but I’ve since been doing weights work in the gym and I had my first ‘spinning’ session at the end of the week.
“I’m feeling good and now just want to get back into the full fitness regime as soon as possible.”
