Persistent heavy rain washed out the Friends Provident Trophy match at Trent Bridge and left Notts Outlaws frustrated in their bid to close the gap on North Conference leaders Warwickshire.
The game was abandoned without a ball being bowled at 2.45pm, with the two sides sharing a point each.
Rain began shortly before the scheduled start time of 10.45am and the weather got steadily worse as the day went on.
Notts now have a week off to rest, with the next match being against Scotland next Sunday in the Friends Provident Trophy.
