Charlie Shreck is likely to miss tomorrow’s Twenty20 Cup clash with Yorkshire Phoenix following his injury in yesterday’s game against Derbyshire.
The 6ft 7ins seamer was felled bowling the first delivery of the Phantoms’ innings by a nasty blow to his leg in his follow-through from a powerful drive by Michael Dighton.
Shreck was helped off the field with a badly bruised left shin and has this morning gone for an x-ray and scan.
Paul Franks or Simon Francis are expected to take his place in the XI for the game on Friday, which starts at 5.30pm.
