Mark Wagh had double cause for celebration this week as he was awarded his Nottinghamshire County Cap as well as being named as August Player of the Month.
The 30-year-old has enjoyed a fruitful debut season for Notts since his winter move from Warwickshire, having scored more than 1,000 first-class runs , including three hundreds and nine half-centuries, while also making many valuable contributions in the Friends Provident Trophy and NatWest Pro40.
He was named as August Player of the Month after hitting more than 400 runs in all competitions, including 152 against Northants in the LV County Championship match at Wantage Road, as well as 66 against his old club at Edgbaston in the Pro40.
Mark was awarded his county cap by skipper Stephen Fleming (pictured) and also received a bottle of champagne from Paul Ellis from team sponsors PKF and a voucher from Merchants restaurant.
