Mark Ealham is set for a fitness test under match conditions next week when the all-rounder is part of a strong Nottinghamshire XI to play against Cricket Victoria Emerging Players.
The one-day friendly will take place on Tuesday August 21 at Trent Bridge and follows a two-day friendly at the Notts Sports Ground at Lady Bay.
Director of Cricket Mick Newell said: “The game will present a good opportunity for a couple of our injured players, including Ealham, to try and prove their fitness ahead of the Championship match with Northants.”
Entry is free for the 50-overs-a-side game at Trent Bridge, which begins at 10.45am, and any supporters and members who would like to come along should be aware that only the Long Room bar will be open, with limited catering available.
