Overseas star David Hussey is back in Nottingham ready for the new season and the challenges of captaincy.
The 29-year-old arrived from Melbourne over the Easter weekend and joined his team-mates for a brief net session ahead of the pre-season friendly with Northamptonshire.
However, the right-handed batsman is not taking part in the match and his first appearance of the season is likely to be against Durham UCCE this weekend.
The Aussie will be captaining Notts for the first five weeks of the season, before Stephen Fleming returns from World Cup duty with New Zealand.
