The second day of the LV CountyChampionship match between Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire has been abandoned due to heavy rain.
Groundstaff had worked manfully to clearstanding water from the outfield on day one only for thunderstorms andtorrential rain leaving Trent Bridge resembling a lake.
And with the outfield still soaked thismorning and more rain forecast, there was no prospect of play.
The teams will return on Sunday to attemptto start the match, with Notts having won the toss and chosen to bowl.
