AJ Harris expects spinners Graeme Swann andRob Ferley to come away with the glory when Notts head to Wantage Road to takeon Northamptonshire.

LV County Championship Division Two
July 26-29: Northants v Notts
Start time: 11am

While the experienced seamer is back fitand ready to open the bowling following a niggling knee injury, the CountyGround's reputation as a spinner's wicket means that the slow bowlers arelikely to take centre stage.

The match begins an important run of gamesfor Notts in the Championship, with table-topping Somerset to follow.

But Harris is confident they can collectplenty of points to close the gap on the Cidermen, particularly with Swann andFerley in the side.

He said: "Jason Brown is always dangerouson his home track and Northampton favours the spinners. We'll have to beconscious of that and there's a possibility we'll go spin-heavy ourselves.

"With our two spinners though, we can gointo the game with confidence. Our focus at the moment is just trying to extendour lead on the teams below us."

The bad weather of the past six weeks hasmeant that Notts slipped from an early lead in Division Two, but Harris insiststheir confidence has not been affected.

He added: "We're not the only people who'vebeen hit by the rain. We saw that last week when Somerset and Essex drew atTaunton, which was pretty much the perfect result for us.

"There's certainly no panic ourselves. Wedon't really worry about those kind of things and just try and get as much aswe can out of each game."
