Byron Hatton-Lowe took 4/50 as Nottinghamshire's U18s fell to a bank holiday weekend defeat against Leicestershire at Lady Bay.

Homegrown Hatton-Lowe removed Foxes openers Jamie Dunk and Jay Madan, before making inroads into the lower-middle order by dismissing Arnav Rai and Darius Fanibanda, and also effected the run-out of Usman Minhas.

Farhan Ahmed accounted for three further Leicestershire wickets as the visitors amassed 256/8 from their 50 overs.

In reply, opener Travis Holland's run-a-ball 32 was the hosts' top score, with support provided by wicketkeeper Toby Lambert (24) and the two wicket-taking bowlers (21 each), as Notts were ultimately dismissed for 143.
