Harry Gurney has been named BDO player of the month after consistent performances over the past month.
He has taken 21 wickets averaging in the mid-20s in his championship outings this year whilst also being an integral part of the so far unbeaten YB40 campaign.
BDO partner Paul Ellis presented Gurney with a bottle of champagne at lunch of the first day’s play against Derbyshire this week, after he had just taken the wicket of Chesney Hughes.
