Keen runners will have the opportunity to support the Trent Bridge Community Trust next March by signing up to the Nottingham 10k.

The flagship mass-participation event returns to the city on Sunday 9 March 2025, with the course taking in Old Market Square, Nottingham Trent University and the Forest Recreation Ground, before finishing in the grounds of the Park Estate.

Individuals can sign up to take part in the event now, at https://www.runforall.com/events/10k/nottingham-10k/.

In the new year, runners will be invited to choose to raise money for the Trust, helping Nottinghamshire CCC’s official charity to break down barriers and raise aspirations of those in need across the city and county.

Additional rewards, including Notts merchandise and experiences at Trent Bridge, will be available for those who raise significant funds for the cause.

Runners from Notts and The Blaze will also be representing the Trust and taking part on the day.

“We first supported the Nottingham 10k last year, and it was such a buzz to be part of the event and see so many people come together to reach personal goals and support good causes,” said Mandy Wright, Head of Community and Development.

“I know many of us will begin the new year eager to shed a few pounds from the Christmas period, and a 10k run is an ideal target to aim for. Plus, there’s plenty of time in the opening months of 2025 to get ready to take the challenge on.

“Most importantly, this is a great opportunity to raise much-needed funds for our life-changing work across the city and county.

“Every penny we receive helps us to support individuals in need of a helping hand – from disadvantaged young people navigating their way through education to those who are living with the effects of dementia.

“I look forward to seeing as many people as possible taking on the challenge in March.”
