Nottinghamshire's Assistant Head Coach Paul Franks and Performance Analyst Kunal Manek are to be the speakers at the Nottingham Cricket Lovers' Society's final meeting of the winter, on Thursday 23 March in the Long Room.

Franks enjoyed a two-decade stint as a mainstay in the Trent Bridge dressing room as a player, before beginning his ascent to the role of Assistant Head Coach upon his retirement.

Manek, meanwhile, was appointed as Nottinghamshire’s first full-time Performance Analyst ahead of the 2017 season, and has gained extensive experience in the global franchise scene.

The duo will look ahead to the new county season, and share their experiences working in overseas leagues and using performance information in the modern game.

The Society’s Annual General Meeting will be held in the first part of the meeting.

Attendance is included as part of the annual membership of the Society, with guests welcome at a cost of £5 for this meeting.
