Trialist James Moorhouse hit a second innings 58 as Notts Second XI ended their season with a defeat against Leicestershire at Oakham.
Mark Footitt and Rob Ferley each took three wickets but a poor show from the Notts batsmen in the first innings set the tone for a disappointing performance.
First innings high-scores of 27 from Ben McGuire and 23 from James Moorhouse saw Notts record a first innings total of 125 and Leicestershire responded with 275.
Notts fared slightly better in the second innings with 181 but Leicestershire lost just two wickets in a successful chase.
