Trent Bridge will take part in the national Heritage Open Day initiative on Monday 9 and Thursday 12 September, throwing open the doors of the Long Room and Wynne-Thomas Library to visitors.

Visitors will be able to learn about the history of the world-famous cricket ground and the County Club – including how Trent Bridge played a role in both World Wars and the other sports that have been played on the hallowed turf.

Those who visit the library, meanwhile, will discover more about the second-largest such collection in the world, and will be able to meet the team of volunteers who are discovering and sharing the Library’s fascinating contents and learn more about the heritage programme at Trent Bridge.

Admission is free of charge, but please note that on-site parking will not be available.
