Notts Outlaws return to the John Fretwell Centre on two occasions this summer, facing Sussex Sharks on Friday 26 July before welcoming Yorkshire Vikings on Sunday 28 July.

Ticketing information

Nottinghamshire members and season ticket holders need only brandish their membership card or season ticket on arrival to gain entry to this fixture. Find out more about memberships here...

Tickets for non-members are priced as follows:

  • Adults: £17
  • Senior citizens (65+): £11
  • Under 21s: £11
  • Under 16s: £6
  • Family ticket (two adults and two under 16s): £40

 

Tickets in advance

There are three different ways to purchase tickets in advance:

- Call the Ticket Office on 0115 899 0300.

- Visit the Ticket Office in person, just inside the Dixon Gates near the Smith Cooper stand.

 

Ticket office opening hours

- Monday to Friday: 9.30am-4.30pm

- Opening hours are extended on matchdays.

 

Tickets on the day

You will be welcome to purchase tickets on arrival at the ground, at the prices listed above, by either cash or contactless means.

 

Hours of play

Gates open at 9.30am, with the all-important toss of the coin & team announcement at 10.30am and start of play scheduled for 11am.

The first innings of 50 overs will take place between 11am and 2.30pm, before a 30-minute interval. The second innings of 50 overs will then take place between 3pm and 6.30pm.

Address And Directions By Car

Welbeck Cricket Club is situated at The John Fretwell Sporting Complex, Sookholme Road, Sookholme, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, NG19 8LL.

Directions: Sookholme Road is the B6407 and, coming from the direction of Mansfield, is a left turning off the A60 between Mansfield Woodhouse and Spion Kop. The ground is opposite the Hostess Restaurant and 500 metres from the junction with the A60. 

 

Car parking

The main entrance to the ground will be reserved for players, match officials and disabled parking. However, on-site car parking is available 100 yards past the main entrance on the right hand side, priced at £7 (£5 to Nottinghamshire Members). This will be signposted accordingly on the day. Car park passes can be secured here...

 

Free coach travel for members – Sunday 28 July

With public transport options to Sookholme more limited on Sundays, we will operate a complimentary coach service for members from the Nottinghamshire Sports Ground (Lady Bay) to the John Fretwell Centre.

The coach will depart Lady Bay at 9am, to arrive at the John Fretwell Centre by 10am. The return journey will commence approximately 30 minutes after the close of play. Free car parking will also be available at Lady Bay.

Sixty spaces are available on the coach. Members who wish to reserve a seat should email questions@trentbridge.co.uk or call 0115 899 0300, and have their membership number to hand when making their reservation.

 

Travelling By Train

A regular rail service runs between Nottingham and the nearest stations to the John Fretwell Sporting Complex – Mansfield (4.1 miles), Mansfield Woodhouse (2.8 miles) and Shirebrook (1.7 miles). 

Local taxis will allow you to complete your journey, including ACE ABC (01623 654321) and Six Five Twos (01623 622222).

Seating

Welbeck Cricket Club provides a picturesque out-ground cricket watching experience with a grass bank around the majority of the perimeter of the playing area. A picnic rug may, therefore, be all you need to enjoy the match in this setting, especially if the good weather holds.

However, a number of fold-down chairs will be available at the ground and spectators are also welcome to bring along their own seating.

 

Food and drink

A variety of food and drink outlets will be available around the ground, including the below for both fixtures: 

  • Welbeck Cricket Club tea/cake stall
  • The Welbeck Cricket Club BBQ
  • Ice cream van
  • Coffee stall

In addition, pizza and jacket potato stalls will be in place on Sunday 28 July.

Spectators are welcome to bring their own food and drink, but kindly note that neither alcohol nor glass containers can be brought into the venue. 

 

Interval outfield access

Guests are most welcome to take a stroll on the outfield, or partake in their own impromptu cricket match, during the interval between innings.

 

Shop

There will be a club shop unit located at the ground for both matchdays, with payment taken by cash and contactless means. Should you wish to purchase any souvenirs, replica shirts, bats, balls and training wear in advance, please visit the online club shop here...  

Scorecards will be available to purchase from the ticket office, priced at £1.

Next to the club shop, there will be a book sale with a wide range of second-hand books that will interest Notts and visiting supporters. Payment can be made by cash or card at the stall.

 

Toilet facilities

Toilet facilities will be available around the ground and will be clearly signposted. Changing Places toilet and changing facilities will also be on site.
