Over 90 participants took part in the #Donate4Dementia Zipwrie Event at Trent Bridge, which saw participants fly over the iconic cricket ground from a crane erected behind the William Clarke Stand, to a landing pad in front of the Larwood and Voce Stand.
In total, over £31,000 was raised for Trent Bridge Community Trust's Forget Me Notts programme, a project which uses sport as a vehicle for reminiscence and interaction between people with dementia, their carers and those experiencing isolation and loneliness.
The scheme also facilitates a peer support network, short periods of respite and access to expert advice for carers.
