Nottinghamshire's Assistant Head Coach Paul Franks is set to speak at the next meeting of the Nottingham Cricket Lovers' Society on Thursday 16 January (7.30pm start).
Mansfield-born Franks enjoyed a 17-year playing career with the Green and Golds, scoring almost 9,000 runs for the county and taking almost 700 wickets.
The all-rounder, who was part of the Championship-winning squads of 2005 and 2010, moved into coaching at the conclusion of his playing career, and has spent time as part of the UAE coaching setup in addition to his duties with Notts.
There are three further events to be held by the society ahead of the start of the 2020 season.
Membership of the Society for the full season costs £15, and cards can be purchased in the Randall Suite.
Alternatively, attendance at each individual meeting costs £5 per head.
