The Revd Mike Vockins OBE, former Secretary and Chief Executive of Worcestershire CCC, is set to speak at the next meeting of the Nottingham Cricket Lovers’ Society on Thursday 6 February.
The Revd Vockins was CEO of Worcestershire for 30 years, managed five overseas tours for the England A or Under 19 teams and has authored several cricket books, including a biography of cricket and football international Arthur Milton.
The evening will begin with a short talk on one of Nottinghamshire’s most successful leaders, George Heane, delivered by former president Bill Russell.
The meeting will take place in the Derek Randall Suite, and is scheduled to start at 7.30pm. Attendance at each individual meeting costs £5 per head.
