Phil McCann, author of a new book devoted to the longstanding tradition of the cricket tea, is set to speak at the Trent Bridge Lunch on Friday 12 July.

Published earlier this year, ‘Cricket Teas’ celebrates the custom of mid-match dining, including tales from luminaries including Sir Michael Parkinson and Michael Vaughan and featuring humorous anecdotes from the grass roots of the club cricket circuit.

Copies of the book will also be available to purchase on the day.

The lunch, priced at £23 per person, will take place in the Derek Randall Suite from 12 noon for 12.30pm, and includes a two-course meal. There will be a complimentary drinks reception for attendees courtesy of Ryley Wealth Management Ltd.
