The new-look Nottinghamshire squad, player recruitment and thoughts on the state of the current England team were just some of the topics under discussion as Head Coach Peter Moores, Club Captain Steven Mullaney and new batsman Chris Nash attended two free Members' events held at Trent Bridge this week.

More than 200 Members and previous Members took advantage to listen as the three also chatted about their hopes and expectations for the 2018 campaign and reflected on a highly-successful 2018 in the Derek Randall Suite.

The panel also took questions from the floor and the new white ball kits and memorabilia were available to buy.

“It was great to meet the Members of Trent Bridge – I thought the two nights went really well,” said Nash, who has joined on a three-year deal from Sussex.

“Nottinghamshire is known as a Members club and we really appreciate their support.” Steven Mullaney

“The Members’ support will be massive to my time at Trent Bridge. Members are the life blood of any cricket club so to have their support will be really important.

It’s vital for them to get behind us and the young players especially, as I know from speaking to the other guys, they always have done in the past.”

All-rounder Mullaney added “Nottinghamshire is known as a Members club and we really appreciate their support, which has been proven with these nights, with so many people taking an interest.

“To see that kind of support from them before we have even started the season is huge and we’re really grateful for it.”
