Nottinghamshire and England spinner Graeme Swann will launch his benefit year with a dinner at Colwick Hall on Thursday 2 May.

Swann will be joined at the top table by former England captain Andrew Strauss and current teammate James Anderson for a Q&A session hosted by National Selector Geoff Miller.

The Nottinghamshire squad will also be in attendance with former Notts man Andy Afford joining Swann on stage for a performance from Dr Comfort and the Lurid Revelations.

"I'm honoured to have been awarded a benefit by Nottinghamshire and I'm delighted that my committee have secured a line-up of people that I enjoy spending time with and the audience will enjoy hearing from," said Swann.

Swann is supporting three charities through his benefit programme; The Trent Bridge Community Sports Trust, Belvoir Castle Cricket Foundation and School For Parents.

Tables of 10 cost £700 and can be secured by emailing hello@swannybenefityear.com
