Nottinghamshire’s Second Eleven suffered a top order collapse on day one of their Championship match against Leicestershire, finishing the day on 21-4 in response to Leicestershire’s total of 263.
Neil Edwards and Scott Elstone both departed without scoring whilst Karl Turner (10) and Steven Mullaney (6) also struggled.
Leicestershire had fared much better taking lunch on 119-3 but were reduced to 170-7 before progressing to their eventual total.
Luke Fletcher shone with the ball taking 6-40 backed up by Jake Ball (2-72) and Simon Webster (2-47).
