Awaiting Nottinghamshire First-Class debut

A Sydney Sixers stalwart and veteran of more than 250 T20 matches around the world, experienced all-rounder Henriques has made the Outlaws his eighth domestic T20 employer, which includes time spent with five different Indian Premier League sides.

Born on the Portuguese island of Madeira, in the same city as Cristiano Ronaldo, Henriques moved with his family to Australia as an infant, and, after showing great promise from a young age, has represented his adopted nation in over 40 games in all formats.

He made his T20 debut for New South Wales at the age of 18, and when the BBL transitioned to its current city-based format ahead of the 2011-12 season, he signed up for the Sixers, where he has remained ever since, scoring over 3,000 runs with 17 half-centuries.

Henriques made his international shortest-format debut just two weeks after his 22nd birthday, in a one-run win over trans-Tasman neighbours New Zealand in his home city, and has an international top score of 62 not out, as well as a best bowling return of 3/22.

He is a multiple BBL winner with the Sixers, playing a crucial role in the first of those triumphs in 2012 with 70 off 41 balls, and also won the previous incarnation of the tournament with New South Wales in 2009.
