Having graduated with an undergraduate degree at the University of Leeds, and a postgraduate diploma at the University of Huddersfield, Bansil's initiation foray into the medical profession came as a physiotherapist with the NHS.
He moved into the sports industry, however, in 2013 with Hull FC, before beginning his career in cricket as Lead Physiotherapist at Yorkshire later that year, where he remained until joining Nottinghamshire.
While with the White Rose, Bansil assumed short-term positions at the ECB with the Fast Bowling Programme and, more recently, the ODI/T20 squads.
He is also the Lead Physiotherapist for Leeds-based Northern Superchargers in The Hundred.
