Awaiting Nottinghamshire First Class Debut
Sol Budinger enjoyed his first season as a professional cricketer in 2020 after two years of aggressive run-scoring for the Academy and Second XI.
The left-hander has chalked up more than 1,000 runs in a Nottinghamshire shirt since being recommended to coach Ant Botha two summers ago.
Since making the step into the Academy at the end of the 2018 season, Budinger’s highlights have included an 86-ball century for the Nottinghamshire young guns and a scene-stealing 75 for a T20 second string which included Dan Christian, Luke Fletcher, Harry Gurney, Jake Ball and Matt Carter.
The 20-year-old also gained valuable experience as part of the first-team setup after being named in Outlaws squads in both the 50-over and Twenty20 campaigns.
