Awaiting Nottinghamshire First-Class debut

Wicketkeeper-batsman Schadendorf, a British passport-holder, has opted to commit to the English domestic game after turning in impressive performances with Zimbabwe’s Under 19s.

The teenager spent 2020 playing for Caythorpe in the Nottinghamshire Premier League, whilst also featuring in friendly matches for Notts’ Second XI.

Schadendorf’s English summer followed a series of strong showings in the international arena, including a remarkable legside stumping against New Zealand which drew widespread acclaim.

In total, the right-hander made ten appearances for Zimbabwe’s U19s, including six at the ICC Under-19 World Cup.

Schadendorf’s attentions now turn to the county circuit, and pushing for a first-team place during the course of his two-year contract with Notts.
