3 R ECR E ATI ONA L CR I CK E T I MPACT R E PORT 2 02 2 In a year when equity in cricket has continued to be at the forefront of the national conversation, our Cricket Development team has continued to actively champion cricket as a game for everyone. Our approach this year has focused on collaboration, working in partnership across the game to help sustain and grow opportunities. New projects, focusing on local diverse communities, have been instrumental in opening the game to new people. But of course, it is our volunteers from clubs and leagues that continue to be at the heart of the recreational game, supporting existing players and officials and providing new opportunities for those that want to engage for the first time.
