In his final remarks at the close of the evening, the Chair said that cricket is a force for good, and that the club’s reputation was flying high. There was much he would miss as he stood down as Chair not least talking to the members at members’ forums and at the AGM, as they were always engaged and courteous. Finally, he wished to thank most of all his wife Gill for all her incredible support during his tenure as Chair. He closed the meeting at 9.45pm.
