2022 ANNUAL REPORT

CHAIRMAN’S REPORT 11 members, supporters and local communities. Once again, our staff have responded magnificently to every challenge placed before them. They are our greatest asset and deserve immense credit for their dedication. This year, that dedication has been recognised at the Business of Cricket Awards whereTrent Bridge won the ‘Best International Spectator Experience’ and the ‘MostWelcoming Stadia’ awards. I was also honoured to be asked by the ECB to be part of the recruitment panel for the new Chair, a role which gave me considerable insight into the workings of the Board nationally. At the Annual General Meeting this year, I will be standing down from the Nottinghamshire General Committee after nine years. It has been an honour and a privilege to serve you and I am indebted to you all for the tremendous support you have given me. Throughout that time, Lisa, our Chief Executive, and her team have worked tirelessly to benefit the club and have given me invaluable advice for which I am immensely grateful. Finally, I wish to thank myVice Chairman Richard Stevenson and all those committee colleagues I have served with since 2014 for their loyalty, endeavour and friendship. “THIS YEAR, AT THE BUSINESS OF CRICKET AWARDS, TRENT BRIDGE WON THE ‘BEST INTERNATIONAL SPECTATOR EXPERIENCE’ AND THE ‘MOST WELCOMING STADIA’ AWARDS.” Jeffrey Moore
