When will I receive my tickets?

Your tickets will be posted to you by the end of March 2014.

What time do the gates open?

Gates open at 9am on each day of the Test and for the ODI.

What are the hours of play?

Test Match – 11am start, Lunch – 1pm - 1.40pm, Tea 3.40pm - 4pm, Close 6pm
ODI 10.45 start, Interval 2.15pm – 3pm, Close 6.30pm

Is there an alcohol free section of the ground?

The William Clarke Stand is an alcohol free stand.

Will I get a refund if the match is over or if it rains?

One Day International

If play is restricted or does not take place at the ground on the date for which your ticket is valid, you may claim a refund of the face value of the ticket subject to there being:

• 10 overs or less play because of adverse weather conditions and no result is obtained – a full refund

• 10.1 overs to 24.5 overs because of adverse weather conditions and no result is obtained – a 50% refund

In no other circumstances can money be refunded. Test Match If play is restricted or does not take place at the ground on the date for which your ticket is valid, you may claim a refund of the face value of the ticket subject to there being:

• no play because the match has been completed – a full refund

• 10 overs or less play because of adverse weather conditions or completion of the match – a full refund

This does not apply to tickets for Day 5 of the match. For Day 5 tickets, a full refund may be claimed if there is:

•no play because of adverse weather conditions or completion of the match

Can I bring any food or drink into the ground?

You cannot bring any alcohol into the ground nor any cans, glassware or metal cutlery. Any food or soft drinks in plastic containers are fine to bring in. All bags will be searched on entry to the ground. A full list of prohibited items is available here

Can I bring a whistle into the ground?

It is not permitted to bring any drums, whistles or musical instruments into the ground. A full list of prohibited items is available here

Can I book a meal at the ground?

All restaurants at the ground are booked as part of a full hospitality package (info by calling 0844 811 8712). There are fast food vans and concession stands selling various types of food available at the ground.

Will I be in the sun or shade?

The New Stand is under cover for most of the day, the Fox Road Stand will get the sun throughout the day. The back 3 – 4 rows of Rows of the Radcliffe Road Lower and Hound Road Lower Stands are under cover, and the other rows in these areas will get the sun at various points during the day as the sun moves round. All other stands are out in the open.

Which is the lively area of the ground?

The Barmy Army have some seats allocated in the Fox Road Stand, the William Clarke Stand is an alcohol free family stand. We are a family friendly ground and we encourage a friendly, enjoyable atmosphere in all parts of the ground. We expect behaviour of a respectable standard from all supporters visiting the ground.

Where’s the best place to park?

Car parking is available at the Embankment Car Park, alongside the River Trent, just the opposite side of Trent Bridge itself to the cricket ground – about 500 yards from the cricket ground. This is run by the council and costs approximately £10 per the day. The Queens Drive Park and Ride is also in operation and runs a shuttle bus to the ground up until 1 hour after the close of play. Is there public transport to the ground?

Nottingham Train Station is about 2 miles from the ground. There are buses which run from the station to the ground (Nos 5,6,7,8,10,11,12 all run to the ground) and there is a taxi rank at the station as well. Click here for more information. 

Can I bring a bike into the ground?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to bring a bike into the ground for international matches. A full list of prohibited items and conditions of sale is available here

Can I bring a pushchair into the ground?

Provided it does not block and stairway or aisle, pushchairs are permitted to be brought into the ground

Is there a charge for babies?

Under 3 year olds (under 3 on 1st April, 2014) are permitted into the ground free of charge. Please be aware that there will not be a seat available for them.

What is the requirement for an under 16/under 21 ticket?

To be entitled to enter the ground on an under 21/under 16 ticket, the person presenting the ticket must be aged under 21/under 16 on 1st April, 2014. Photo ID may be requested at the point of entry for all under 21 tickets.

Can I book 6 tickets and then my friend book 6 as well?

There is a booking limit of 6 tickets per applicant per day. A different applicant would require a different credit or debit card number, different name, and different address.
