Nottinghamshire Captain Chris Read scooped the Ten Year Achievement prize at the Nottingham Post Sports Awards in recognition of his outstanding service to the Club.

Read pipped long-serving Nottingham Panthers player David Clarke to the prize.

Michael Lumb was awarded Nottinghamshire Professional Cricketer of the Year having been shortlisted alongside James Taylor and Alex Hales.

The Ashes Legacy Project, a joint initiative between Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, Durham County Cricket Club and The MCC, won the Best Community Scheme prize in recognition of the efforts made to enhance spectator experience and ensure a lasting legacy following the 2013 Investec Ashes Series.
