An unbeaten century from Matthew Cross helped Nottinghamshire's Second XI to a 382 run declaration on day one of their game against MCC Universities.
A strong pace attack led by Luke Fletcher, Paul Franks and Jake Ball restricted the visitors to 36/2 at the close.
Steven Mullaney hit 58 from 63 balls with Sam Wood, Sam Kelsall and Karl Turner hitting forties.
