Nottinghamshire will begin the final day of their Second Eleven Championship match against Northants with a lead of 143 runs after Scott Elstone’s unbeaten hundred.
Elstone (131) and Neil Edwards (80) were the main contributors to a declared first innings total of 301/9
Northants were reduced to 158/7 by the close of day two with George Bacon taking 4-66.
