Four players played a leading role in a convincing victory for the Academy at Lady Bay.
 
Adam Tillcock took two superb catches at backward square off the bowling of George Bacon  to put the visitors on the back foot. He then claimed 3-25 with his left arm spin from ten.

James Fraser held the visitors innings together with 76 not out. George Bacon finished with 3-61.
 
Replying to Mansfield’s score of 211-8, Tom Rowe and Sam Kelsall put on a superb batting dispay to add 163 for the first wicket. Kelsall was superb in his timing and stroke play although his was the only wicket to fall scoring 81 with 12 fours.

Tom Rowe was also in prime form notching up his fourth 50 in five innings and going on to finish with 86 not out with 11 boundaries. The Academy knocked off the required runs with ten overs remaining.
