Hampshire have been deducted eight LV= County Championship points by an ECB pitch panel after it was ruled the the Rose Bowl strip used for their draw with Nottinghamshire demonstrated excessive turn.
Tony Piggott and Mike Denness convened and interviewed Notts captain Chris Read and Director of Cricket Mick Newell as part of the process.
Hampshire are now 36 points adrift of Worcestershire at the bottom of LV= County Championship Division One.
