Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell will name an unchanged team for Wednesday’s LV= County Championship match against Yorkshire at Headingley.

Yorkshire have made a reasonable start to their campaign with defeat to Durham at Headingley preceded by victory over Worcestershire at New Road.

Charlie Shreck keeps his place in the side after a strong showing against Hampshire with Darren Pattinson remaining sidelined with a hamstring injury.

“We’ve kept faith with the same team simply because there were a lot of pleasing aspects to our win over Hampshire,” said Newell.

“Charlie Shreck was drafted into that side after injuries struck but it was very clear that he had benefitted from the match he played for Kent and he demonstrated why he deserves to retain his place.”

Mark Wagh and Paul Franks will open the batting for Nottinghamshire with academy batsman Michael Robson traveling with the squad as twelfth man.
