Trent Bridge has been named the best domestic venue for the second successive year in an independent survey commissioned by the ECB.

Glamorgan’s SWALEC Stadium and Hampshire’s Rose Bowl completed the top three with Lord’s ranked in fifth position.

Hampshire pipped Notts to the top spot in the international matches survey by a single point with Glamorgan completing the top three.

“ECB is committed to supporting the modernisation of cricket grounds and improving the spectator experience throughout England and Wales which we recognise as an important factor in retaining our existing customer base and attracting new audiences to the sport,” said ECB Chief Executive David Collier.

“This research gives all our international and domestic venues a clearer understanding of what matters most to spectators when they attend matches and we send our congratulations to Hampshire, Nottinghamshire and Glamorgan on their strong performances in this year’s survey.”

Trent Bridge was highly commended for the view from each seat, the quality of stewarding and the ease of ticket transactions.
